How to Avoid the Network Transceiver Scam
Gartner analysts wrote in a recent report, "How to Avoid the Biggest Rip-off in Networking. https://www.gartner.com/doc/3777364/avoid-biggest-...Great analysis and proof why you should switch NOW and use E.C.I. 's network optics as an alternative to the Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HP, etc.: Network transceivers, typically small interface modules that provide combined transmit/receive capability, account for 10% to 15% of what organizations spend on equipment for a range of network deployme

Do 3rd party or ECI Network optics require special unlock codes?
3rd Party Network Optics 101: Do ECI Networks Optics require special unlock codes for Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5, HP, etc.?No, all our Network Optics transceivers, AOC, and DAC properly coded do not require OEM operating system unlock commands. PLEASE NOTE that you must have purchased the correct vendor compatible optics (i.e. Cisco, Arista, Brocade, F5, Palo Alto, etc.) or otherwise you may have to use a command to allow generic 3rd party optical transceivers.

200G and 400G Form Factors Explosion?
200G/400G pluggablesOne solution to increasing faceplate density has been to decrease the size of the current QSFP28 pluggable, this effort has led to the µQSFP transceiver that can support four electrical channels at up to 28 Gbits/sec. This allows for a 33-percent increase in density with up to 72 ports (up to 7.2 Tb capacity) per RU. Double Density QSFP (QSFP-DD), an upcoming MSA form factor that can support up to 200G/400G with 25G or 50G over 16 lanes. It is boosted to be the smallest
